Logistics Part:

I will come to your area and can do a 2 hour evening music concert playing songs in the styles of several of the country bluesmen I have studied. The next day I can do a 4 - 6 hour guitar workshop on the Country Blues. This will be a combination of watching videos of the players, instruction on their styles, and educational historical information. I have a library of almost 100 videos/cd's of these players.

I need a room with chairs big enough for everyone in attendance, a fairly big screen tv, and a dvd/cd player. I will provide my own PA system. I also will provide to all attendees class handouts and a PC Compatible computer disk of the workshop, including lyrics, guitar tablature, sound files, video files, and a guitar program that actually plays the tablature learned in the class. I have developed and created this disk over the years in my classes.

Financial Part:

I want this to be viable and fun for your organization - a fund raiser - and for me to cover my time and travel expenses.. I suggest an attendance fee of $ 30 - 80 per student for the concert and workshop, depending on what you think would be reasonable for your area. Or $ 5 - 20 for the concert alone for non-players. If you can provide me adequate room and board, I will split the gate 50-50 with your organization. If I have to pay for hotel etc. I will split the gate 50-50 after my actual expenses.

I also reserve the right to sell my own music cd's and dvd's.
