ABOUT SCMS BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Spokane County Medical Society (SCMS) Board of Trustees consists of the President, Immediate Past President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Secretary Treasurer-Elect and ten other members at large. The officers generally serve one year terms and the trustees at large serve three year terms.

The Board of Trustees is the legislative body of SCMS. They recommend and carry out SCMS policy and ensure implementation of they bylaws. Additionally, they authorize all budgetary expenses.

The Board of Trustees meets monthly (except August) and conducts a retreat in the last quarter of the year.
