Guy clipping iPod shuffle to his sleeve

If you’re the only kid on your block   or adult - without a snazzy MP3 player – the KPBX pledge drive will give you a chance to win an Ipod Shuffle – IF you make your pledge online.

The Ipod shuffle is world’s smallest digital music player and is a  $79 value.

This 1GB device  lets you wear up to 240 songs on your sleeve. Or your lapel. Or your belt. Clip on iPod shuffle and wear it as a badge of musical devotion. That’s because this Ipod shuffle is a clip-on device you can clip on anywhere.

You know what they say about good things and small packages. But when something 1.62 inches long and about half an ounce holds up to 240 songs, the terms “good” and “small” don’t quite cut it. Especially when you can listen to your music for up to 12 continuous hours.

These are donated by Street Corner Media, and will have "SPR" engraved on them.

KPBX is giving away two of the brand-new iPod shuffles to people who pledge online at kpbx.org, and click on the  button.

The iPod shuffle holds up to 240 songs; based on 4 minutes per song; Up to 12 continuous hours of content, including public radio podcasts Also stores data via USB flash drive. Battery life is 12 hours between recharging

It’s Matchbook size: 1.62 inches long and about half an ounce Designed to be clipped to your clothing.

And here’s a new computer term related to it – it’s thumb-friendly; thumb-friendly !

( Of course this does mean that bovine listeners and other species who have not evolved to the opposable thumb stage of evolution may have difficulty  with this device .... )

Flip the shuffle switch to mix up iPod shuffle’s contents. Then flip the switch again to play your hand-picked playlists and albums in the order you synced them from iTunes.
